Treat ALL activations as real and have them checked out by the Fire Department. 5. Evacuate everyone from your home immediately leaving the door open for ventilation on your way out. 6. Notify the Fire Department, DIAL 911, from a neighbor's house or by cell phone from outside your house. 7. Test your CO detector once a month, following the manufacturer's directions.
