ABOUT US

The Dillsboro Volunteer Fire Department is located about 45 miles West of Cincinnati, OH in South Eastern Indiana.  We are the primary fire response for the Town of Dillsboro and Clay Township  in South Western Dearborn County.  This mostly rural area is about 25 square miles with an estimated population of about 3000.  The Fire Department responds to approximately 80 calls per year including mutual aid response to other departments in the area.

The Fire Department meets on the first Monday of each month at 7:30pm.  We have Training on the second and third Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm and company checks on the last Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm.

The Fire Department consist of 28 regular members 7 honorary retired members and 4 associate members.  We are always looking for new members.  If you live in Dillsboro or within 1 mile of Clay Township, are at least 18 years old, and are interested in becoming a firefighter, click here to be taken to our membership page.
